anyone watch smallville? =)

If you noticed the last race was between a mustang and a s13 240sx with a s15 front end conversion.. would have said it was a 180sx like 95 or so.. but it was left hand drive

thats Rakus S13..hes an interesting fellow that lives in vancouver. I know him...the car they crashed tho was a replia of his car, and no.. his car does not have green flame graphics on the side, or all the rice stuff..the production cast put that stuff on there.

I saw that episode. Even if it was a replica, poor car. They just crashed it. IMO the cast put too much ricey stuff in that episode.

Rakus actual s13 is powered by a SR20DET, i believe the one they used just had the KA motor.

i got one question, why'd they have to crash the only car worth mentioning?????? (everything else was like civics) although i admit the front of that mustang was pretty badass (minus the weirdo grahpics) but hoods and bumpers dont make cars fast, heh

o yea one more thing, did you guys see that knock off from the fast n furious with that nos running through outa the exhaust?? i laughed, i cried.......but mostly laughed

From what I am hearing in here, I am glad I missed it. I know when I saw the previews on tv, I just laughed...it was such a sterotype. It just didn't look good.

all the cars featured on that episode were show cars from private owners that were avalible localy. personaly i hated all those cars, including the mustang..thats not a good shade of red...and those green flames coming out of the fart cans....god..made me wana throw up. Although toward the end of the episode were that one dude died did provide a educational purpose..street racing can kill and they did a good job making it look stupid. Anyway..that guy deserved to die, he was an ass. The replica of Rakus S13 was of course not a car i hated, but it was chosen randomly by the cast. Car looks fast, and when a car launches off..camera magic catches the rear camber drop right as they take off..making audience think "its hella fast" thanks to the RWD layout of the S-Chassis. Still...an expensive replica.

wingsofwar, I am curious. You mentioned that all the cars in the episode were local cars, and that Rakus' S13 was from Vancouver. Is smallville filmed in Vancouver, BC...or was this episode? I am not a big wb or smallville fan, so I don't know these things, but I am curious as to if you ment Vancouver, BC...and if you didn't where you ment. I am assuming it was Vancouver, BC. I know lots of shows and films have filmed there over the years.

I kind of thought that, but wasn't sure since I am not really a fan. I know the X-files and a bunch of other shows/films where filmed there. I know lots of moves were filmed at that mine on the way up to Whister (I can't remember the name of the town or what it was called, but it was a really small place). I might be getting movies mixed up, since it's 3:17am here, but I do believe part of Insomnia was filmed up at that mine in BC.
