Hello, just wanted to know what you guys's opinion is on bar's leaks for my cooling system. I seem to have a few litttle coolant leaks, nothing major, and I think adding a bottle of bar's leaks will help solve the problem. However, I have heard that it plugs your heater core and does not allow you to use the heat inside the car. Is this true? Do you guys have any experience with this stuff??

Ive never had it plug the heater core before..i just used a bottle in my work van last week..sprang a slight drip at the bottom of the water pump...its working fine...heat is warm too..
Where are your coolant leaks at.?..if they are the end of your hoses there is a better way of stopping them ...

I think it's leaking from the water pump but im not sure. Do you think bars will help to stop this leak?

Make sure that the water is not coming from the weephole...thats the hole behind the arbor, it lets water out when it passes behind the water pump bearing...if its from the gasket and its not pouring out, give it a shot..
