Motor ? 89 Lude ? My Motor ?

Few Questions !

(Also i am a big nOOb)

Info on my lude:
89 Honda Prelude
Car fax says it is a SI and engine is 2.0L L4 FI
(VIN jhmba4160kc******)

Motor type:
What is the best(if there is a best) motor that will fit in my 89 lude ?

Engine: Has anyone herd of a 2.0L LA FI ? <---from car fax
diffrent site said (2.0L NA OHV Gas EFI)

Also were can i find stamp on motor that tells type ?

unfortunatly for your car, there is no swaps available to swap to, without making custom motor mounts for it. your motor is a b20a i believe, which was the absolute worst of all the b-series motors. it has something like 130hp and 104lb/ft of torque, prolly less, but these are my rough estimates.

sorry to ruin your dreams for your ride, but to find the engine block stamp, when facing the motor from the outside, look at the left side of the block, right under where it mates to the head, underneath the exhuast manifold, you will see a small 2x2" box with b20... in it.
