security light blinks engine does not start

I drove my car yesterday. Today morning, when I started the engine it would not start. The security light is blinking and so are the flash lights. I tried using the key to open/close the driver's side door and did not help. Any help is appreciated.

hey man, seems to me like your security is malfunctioning there you are unable to start it because of the kil switch.......hope you to disconnect it, if not you gunna have to take to the dealer or whom ever installed the alarm.
