ecu for sohc zc vtec

I have a 95 civic ex with a sohc zc vtec in it.i just read on another forum that there might be an upgraded ecu to use for this engine,the si.is this true and does anyone know where i can find specs for my engine cuz my valves are ticking like a mofo :feedback:

No, your valves have nothing to do with your ecu. And you should be running a p28 ecu to begin with..that ecu is the one you would want to run. Good luck and try to get a valve job done!!

and dumping the ZC won't hurt either get a SOHC vtec or a b18b for cheap. all i've ever heard or seen is bad things with SOHC ZCs

i had one of them sohc zc vtecs, i had NO problems with mine. try adjusting your valve lash . another ecu u can try is the P08 from a 1.5L vti D15B sohc vtec- had a wilder cam :) i got 1

yes if you use the OBD1 engine harness and related sensors/smog equipment: purge evap on back of Intake Manifold. Im using that P28 on my '92 hatch. this is the eziest way to avoid as much wiring as possible. and go 4 wire oxygen sensor cuz thats what the D16Z6/92-95ex runs on. your tranny should bolt up to the block.
