Making of BMW Z3 Roadster

Hi everyone!
This is a Tamiya's Z3. giving it big body modification.
Front bumper,side skirts,rear over finders, rear bumper and rear wing from scratch.
it needs more putty work.
at this stage, I think you could surmise the final style what I'm planning. :rolleyes:

I'm planning paint it solid black or dark purple metallic.
and perhaps put 5 spoke rims on it.

No. I'll put thick rollgage on back of seats.

Dark Purple Metallic would be sick, great work on that body kit, your really good man... :evillol:

Sure I'll keep an eye on it, besides I'm personally attached to Z3's since it was my first build ever.

great job kunta. might want to make the rear flares flush with the fronts, but that's just some of my pennies.

Almost finished body modify.
applied primer for give the finishing touches.
changed door handles to Sakatsu's metal parts.

Another sweet BMW. Body mods look great so far. Can't wait to see some more progress, and see it done.

Looks great, just one thing, the lips on the rear bumper look a bit uneven, other than that is beautiful, like always man...

The bodykit is very beautiful especially the sideskirts. Check maybe the rear lips because they don't look symetric (maybe it's the pic... :rolleyes: ). With the color dark purple don't forget the M3 style taillights...

yes. I have to fix. thanks for observation. :p
M3 taillights means red/white combination right? that's not M3, but OK.
(the position of M3's rear emblem is upper than normal Z3)

now, that's a Z3 even I'd be proud to drive, unless, it was stock under the hood.

Finished body modification and painted mixed dark metallic purple.

Yes, good choice on colors. I love the skirt around this Z3, it really works well with the car. I do look forward to seeing more of this build.

Assembled interior. painted lavender/black.
seats from Tamiya 206WRC(applied c/f look paint) with Modeler's belts.
added roll bar.
