Wifes new car

Hi guy's, my wife is getting a (new to her) 01 Taurus SES, with the 200 hp duratec V6, and fully loaded. Does anyone here own that model, and how do you like it? Thanks

Hello. I own a 2001 Spruce Green SES but it does not have the Duratec engine in it. I LOVE my car so far (I bought it used about two weeks ago.) Your wife's car will have much more HP than mine does because it is the Duratec, so it will be pretty fast! (Gosh I wish I had the Duratec!)

So far though, the car is a very comfortable ride, drives smooth, and is nice and roomy, not to mention MUCH better on gas than my Contour was.

I'm sure she will enjoy it. Hers is the same color as yours. Do you have the spoiler on yours? We drove an 01 SES with the reg 3.0 v6 but they were the same price,same mileage, but hers had the duratec , and the power peddles, so the choice was easy.

Hello there, no mine does not have the rear spoiler unfortunatly. I really like a car with a spoiler though, just seems to give it that *finished* look I guess. :)

My car has lots of nice thing in it though, the cd player, adjustable seats, adjustable pedals, power everything, ect... the only thing I *don't* like so far is the "extra" seat in the middle. I would rather of had the gear shifter there, but what can I do? lol

Under that "extra" seat is a large compartment, so I usually just keep it open to hold all my Cd's change, or whatever else I need. lol.

I love my taurus so far. It is a MUCH smoother ride than ANY car I've ever had. :)
