Weird noise.

I have a 1997 Astro LS.I hear this noise when the car is on.Every time I accelerate the noise gets louder,it kinda sounds like when you try to turn the steering wheel and there is no power steerting fluid.Kinda squeaky.You can hear the noise even when the car is idle.Anyone have any suggestions?

you more than likely have a loose/bad belt. Try pouring beer on the belt when the truck is running. If the noise goes away, you should probably replace the belt.
