New guy here. I've been a lurker for a while. This place is a great!
I don't know if anyone has seen this at all, but the latest issue of Robb Report has a small "for sale ad" with the last unregistered F1 road car for sale at McLaren. I think the price was $1.7 million, and the car has a little over 100 miles.
I would buy it in a second if I had the cash :banghead:

You think a couple of hundred miles versus less than 20,000 is worth an additional $450,000? Surely you realize that as soon as you drive the car and put some miles on it, it won't be worth any more than any other McLaren F1 roadcar? You will never recover the premium on this car unless you don't drive it. In which case you might as well build a replica or buy one with a seized engine.

Found an article about it in AutoWeek Online, and I believe McLarens' head of Customer Care, Harold Dermott, mentions Mr.Selldorff: It’s not unusual for someone to own more than one F1. One person has three.

One person has three? I thought several people did. The Sultan of Bruneii had even more at one time. That guy in Sweden, a couple of people in England, and, of course, the owner of this car...seems all of them have sold off one or more, or are wanting to sell.

anyone who has an lm has at least 2 and anyone with a gt has 3 (lm and road car) assuming its not been sold on (as in Mr. Selldoffs case). Ralph Lauren has 2..
