I'm gonna sell my stang to get a 98-99 F body but I'm not sure which I should get. Should I get the SS or WS6 please help and offer reasons why you say I should pick the one you say instead of the other. Like I understand that the WS6 offers some options that the camaro doesn't have. What are they. Help? What to get? Thanks in advance.

well, there are certain strengths and weaknessse, subtle differences. i personally always liked the muscular bad ass "i eat nails and red meat" kinda look of a black WS6 firebird but an SS camaro has a clean crisp hot look that i also love. thats why im putting a WS6 style ram air hood on my third gen :) i have heard that the firebirds run a bit quicker than the camaros, as for why, there have been heated arguments that have reveiled, well, not much. but for the most part, they are the same car, so its pretty much up to which one you think youd look better in :)

I went and looked at a 1998 SS today and the guy was selling the car for 13000. But it was wierd because It didn't have any type of dual exhaust. It only had one single tipped exhaust on the drivers side.... Why is that.

?? dunno, did you ask him about it? it might be an aftermarket. although i haveheard talk on the forum about a single outlet exhaust, i thoughtit was two tips out of one side though. try and PM blackcamaroSS on that one, he was on the SLP board, and should be able to answer that one.

Some of the older SS models had a performance exhaust with only one tailpipe. It looked really hurting but was apparently good for an extra 5-10 HP over the regular "fake" dual exhaust. Gotta remember that only one exhaust pipe runs down to the back of the car from the cat(s), there is only one muffler with a single inlet and dual outlet (hence the "fake" or quasi dual exhaust).
As far as your choice of models, its really which appearance you like better. Are you looking at any Formula Firebird models as well or just a TA & SS? I personally love the styling of the Firebird's. Might even come in cheaper than the other models...
