Which kinds of models do you prefer?

I like to take time building models. Even with curbside kits... So I must tell the kind of model I prefer is fully detailed: engine, and more if possible!(all opening...)
Fujimi Enthusiast series are to me the bests! Especially Porsches 356!
Engine detail, engine detail and engine detail!
That's my answer! lol!

I made a thread exactly like this about a year or so ago LOL.. you should check it out I think it was a pretty good thread.

I prefer engine detail any day. I mean you can always leave the hood down or whatever if its not your thing. seems like kits are getting simpler, while still getting more expensive. Not putting an engine in a car model is like not putting a keyboard on a computer IMO.
whats next, are they gonna leave the wheels and body out of the box too?

Sometimes I feel like a simple model and sometimes a complicated one is the ticket, other times my choice of subject limits my choice of detail.

I think engine detail is a must. It's the heart of the car. A badass car like a Ferrari Enzo is just a piece of pretty metal without anything to power it. Putting the engines together is probably my favorite part of building models, next to actually finishing them.

I myself prefer to make a Curbside Model. I dont like to detail the engine as much as the Exterior.

engine detail can get overwhelming at times but I think everyone should try and build one

it would be great if Tamiya could release some Kit with or without engine, they simply just are really slow

Don't really matter to me, I decide what I wanna build on subject. If I wanna build it, i'll build it

It would also be great if the mods also remembered to put 15-day time-outs on all the polls so they couldn't be anonymously resurrected... ;)

If it has an engine it's a plus, but it all comes down to the subject anyway. If I wanna build it and it has no engine I don't seem to have much chooise do I? But all in all I love engines and about thoose Fujimi 356's I can just agree. For thoose of you that haven't tried one out yet...go for it, you will not get dissapointed...they're a blast to build in all aspects.
