IPMS Model Show Photos (Atlanta)

I took these pics a few weekends ago at a IPMS model show.
Many AF members were there, (Veyron, ZoomZoomMX-5, p9o1r1sche, and some others) so the competition was tough. :smile:
There were many many tanks and planes and such, but I mainly just photo'd the cars. You'll see some other interesting things also.
I left with 3 trophys, and a couple new kits to build. My blue Enzo and yellow Mythos received 2nd and 3rd place honors in the box stock category. The 350Z recieved 2nd place honors in the modified category. They were my first trophys! I was glad to receive one, but 3 was just shocking.
ZoomZoomMX-5 was kind enough to host these on his Fotki acct. Thanks Bob!

I wanted to go, but I had previous priorities. Thanks for posting pics.
I thought I was the only person this board that was in IPMS Atlanta Chapter.

Are you in the IPMS Atlanta group that meets at PDK airport? We're IPMS/ACME, the "all car" IPMS group in Atlanta. I guess there are about 5 local chapters in Atlanta. The show was killer.
Me, Veyron, CADguy are in ACME...Po9r1s1che is from South Carolina, Scuderia-Ferrari from E. Tenn.

Whee, I nearly got an OD of gorgeous models while browsing through the pics :eek: I think I'll have to start saving money for flight tickets just to be able to go in some of the great model shows you have in the US :iceslolan

Nice to see some F1 and Le Mans type cars in a show deep in Nastycar's Heartland. :)

wow, all you guys aren't too far from me...i need to get some models built and come down to a show..atlanta is only 8 hours away, here in NC we have toy collector shows..and maybe 2 model contests a year that are mostly armor and nascar
