Rear End Question

Any idea what would cause the rear end to feel like it is torquing to the right every time I accelerate??? Happens in all gears at all speeds and I have to do some counter steering every time. Bought the 96 GT used, so I really have no idea how it was treated before, but it just doesn't feel quite right to me.

Bad bushings???? Check all the bolts that hold the rear end onto the car

Also, inspect the torque boxes for damage while you're under the car?

do you have an open rear end, and do a lot of burnouts? if that's the case, you're only burning one tire at a time, and probably have uneven wear.
i've heard a lot of good things about Eaton's new E-Locker diff =)

I thought someone once said Fox bodies sometimes would tear where the outside trailing arms connect to the frame. Isn't that location of the frame called a torque box? I could be wrong.

Yea where the control arms connect to the frame are called torque boxes. They really only tear under 2 circumstances 1. You have a real high hp Mustang in which you should have installed battle boxes in the first place. #2 You own or bought a car that had been sittin and they rotted out.
