Crazy Race Story!

Last night (December 30th), I went over to my buddies house and we were driving around doing nothing until she suggested we raced our cars. So we went back to her house and she got in her VW Cabrio (89 I think). She said there was an airport strip a couple miles away that we could line up and race on, so we went there driving like asses the whole time :D . At least there weren't any other cars on the road, being that it was late and on back roads. So we got to the airport and lined up and we launched after a third horn beep. She pulled on me off the line, but I caught up in second and pulled away through third. So I win the race and we turn around to go home. Just as we finished pulling around, a cop pulled onto the road. It scared the piss out of me, but nothing happened, he just drove by and we went on home. Overall, pretty fun night :). See ya.

Hehe, that is like one night we were at the Streetraces. It got kinda slow and no one was racing at the moment, and this cop slowly creeps right in down the road (and everyone is parked along the road). That night was the night of that meteor shower, so we were all like "Look at the sky." So when he drove by no one was paying attention to him, we were all just looking at the sky. Then when he got down the road he spun his tires and drove off. Cops are weird.

yes they are, cops are weird. A lot of them piss me off too i'm constantly getting mean mugs from police and other people and ya know it really pisses me off, I don't even look like a bad person jesus christ GRRRRRR! heh, sorry bout that just felt the need to vent a bit =)................................................ ..... OH YEAH! doesn't it just really piss you off when you're just riding down the road GOING THE SPEED LIMIT and a damn cop passes you going the other way and all of a sudden just because you're a 20 year old in a nice ass car they immediatly turn around and get on your ass GOD THAT PISSES ME OFF!!.............ok i'm done :)

This is what gets me hot...chech it out. I live in Albuquerque New Mexico and there is always races happening and there is ALWAYS people getting pulled over yet there is a cop that lives here that's running a fast and furious style Toyota Supra rated at 740hp at the wheels! He's always speeding ass around town and is he ever gonna get in trouble?? HAH!:flipa:

you bet you won the race against a vw cabrio the 4 cyl have no guts.

Ps i want a race strip too all i have around here is only main roads.

last Friday we went out and were all parked down the side of some bumblefuck road about to race when the cops showed up. I was in a car accident Thursday morning and still had a headache so when the cop stopped his car next to mine with his strobes on I reached in my car and grabbed my Oakleys... at 2am. He started asking me questions about my car (has no rear interior and the wheels still say Acura) and I was just like "Can I go?". We hadn't started racing when he showed up so they just checked ID's and let us leave, it was way better last night :)

I heard a tale about a bunch of people going street racing here in rome ga and the sherrif showed up and supposedly raced with them!! thats what they all claim!!! I dunno I only went one time with them its to risky to me and sure not worth going to jail or getting fined for by some punk cop that had a bad day and trying to make quota!!! :D

i was at the street races one night and me and this civic si that just put a zex kit on his car drove the 1/4 mile or so to turn around and race back well just as we pulled over to the shoulder to turn around a cop comes outta nowhere and is suddenly in the middle of the entire group that was waiting for us to race back through with his blue lights on! every body there was just stuck with him, me and the dude about to race were 1/4 mile up the road so we both just hauled ass and left the area! guess we were lucky to be up there when he hit. weve been busted quite a few times, the trick is when everyone jumps in their cars to run, wait a sec and let a couple people go 1st cuz the 1st people out are the ones usually to get chased, then u can usually get away i always do anyway.

I like to sit at the end of the 1/4 mile if i'm not racing, I put my Valentine One up on my roof so I can see it and I chill out at the finish line with a radio calling the wins to the start line. If I see blue lights or if my detector goes off i'll do a TFATF and warn everyone as i'm hauling ass out of there. The other night after the cops came and I left I heard that the cop was about to let a couple of the cars run, I left as soon as he gave me my ID back so I don't know if that's BS or not.
