it says mix the flesh and orange with a ratio of 10:1
i tried doing that but it comes out too orange. so i just started adding more flesh so that it'd come out to the desired color, but it wouldn't.
can people tell me how to go about doing this? i think i might have just wasted a lot of flesh colored paint by doing this.
oh, and just wondering, how do you guys measure the correct ratio when mixing paint?
thanks.

Sometimes tamiya's mixed colors just don't work.
for 'earthy' interior colors I look for something pleasing in the military colors and tint a little with brown, red and yellow if I need to alter the tone or lighten it with white. Be sure to keep a little extra of a custom color around in case you need to touch-up any spots as it is quite hard to mix another batch to the exact shade.
I mix by the drop...
I stir the paint with a wide tooth pick and drop paint into my paint cup. Clean droppers would work too (medicine droppers).

yes tamiya mixed colors sometimes dont work!!! another thing is that you better mix enough cus if you dont when you mix again you might get a slightly different color. so if you mix too much its wastful but if you dont mix enough if you need to come back and touch up something later you're in trouble.
what I would do is to look at some of the model master colors.. I painted my testarossa beige/brown interior using model master colors.
