engine question

do you know if you can fit a rb26dett(skyline engine) into a 99' eclipse??? Sorry is this is a noob question.

Short answer is no. Long answer is yes, if you have a lot of money to pay someone to put a square in a triangle hole.

Sure,
8,000+ dollars for the engine
3,000+ dollars for the custom parts (if they can even be made)
4,000+ dollars for labor and custom fab.

This is all assuming you can find a way to lengthen the body and sub-frame to fit a 6cyl in a 4cyl engine bay. Mitsubishi didn't leave any room in for custom mods.

i saw that pic a couple of times, and it's real to the best of my knowledge. other than a sic custom show winner, why would you want to replace an engine with so much potential?
