The dry kit goes into the intake. A wet kit goes into the injectors. You only want a wet kit of you have a turbo or a beefed up fuel system. With your GS I'd say go with a dry kit. about a 50 shot... 75 TOPS on stock internals and fuel setup. I've heard lots of good things about the zex kit. easy to install, and very safe (as far a n2o goes). Good luck. and enjoy

actually a wet kit goes into the intake also, except you run a line off your fuel rail and onto the same nozzle the nitrous is goin through... where it mixes and then sprays out, the only kind of wet kit that goes into the injectors is direct port nitrous systems! the wet kit is much better than the dry because of the fuel/nitrous mix before the intake manifold... i had a 75 shot wet kit on my RS before i turboed it and that worked just great! id say go with the wet kit!

Yea i have a 98 gs (AT) only thing i have is an intake but im interested in nitrous. wich is safer for my car the dry kit or the wet kit? wich is cheaper and easier to install? Will it destroy my car faster? WHAt is the most common problem with it? Sorry sooo many questions.

If you are worried about safety, destroying your car, problems, cheapness.. and easyness, DONT GET NITROUS they all are the opposite of those things

i agree with joe, nitrous does tend to rip your engine a new a$$hole if you know what i mean

If you really want it...the dry kits are cheaper, and the wet kits are safer.

if you get nitrous you will crash because you will suck it all to your head. damn NOS whores!!! i was in a grand prix that flipped 5 times because the driver passed out and the balloon went flying and i was so fucked up i tried to save it instead of grabbing the wheel. and a 1/2 full 20lb nitrous bottle was flying around the car the the whole time. would have gotten away with it if a passing car didn't stop to help and saw me huck the bottle down an embankment. did i mention we were in a canyon? we both walked away without a scratch, or a car. and that was the 2nd tank for the setup he had on the car, there was still one in the trunk. the cops were like 'right, there was a squirrel, sure, come with us and explain it to the JUDGE!!' N2O blows...

that was years ago, back when i was extremely involved in the LA underground rave scene. we also had a backpack with like 18,000 cash in it from the door at a party we were throwing that night. we got picked up on the side of the road, dropped off the $$ and went back to the party. that was like 7 years ago... i've calmed down A LOT since those days...

no pics, but 1 rim did survive, and it's in my friend's garage still. he kept it to remind him not to suck gas and drive. he used to do it by himself which is even more scary to think about...

yes it is. there isn't anything that pisses me off more than people that drive under the infuence of a substance. having A drink is one thing. but to intentionally get wasted and drive is a f*cked up thing to do. i am glad you survived it and didnt hurt anyone else.

ya, me too. like i said, i had my times of stupidity. i was very lucky to have lived through that time in my life. i've been sober for almost 15 months now because of where that life led me. i'm the happiest and most successful i've ever been. but i got stories that would make a priest run out of a confessional booth... :naughty:

 That is such BS. Do you have any idea how much pressure is in a nitrous bottle? Even a half full bottle would be at around 1,000 psi of pressure. "Flying around the car" isn't the term for it, try more like a rocket that would make its way right through the middle of your chest and out the other side before you could react. I remember pictures of a Maxima that had a bottle rupture, and it literally looked like a bomb went off in the car, the entire back half of the car where the bottle was, was just missing. The garage the car was in at the time had the door blown off of it.

Not to mention you can't huff nitrous. You can huff medical grade nitrous, but the stuff you use in your car will make you very very sick.

i remember seeing that picture! it was unbelieveable that a 20lb bottle could do that much damage!! i take my bottle out daily in the summer (stays out in the winter) cause it gets so hot in the car that i am afraid that it will blow!

first off, i never said the bottle ruptured, read a little closer. as the car was flipping, the bottle was loose in the floorboards below my feet in the passenger side. it ended up in the back seat somewhere. and the place i used to go to get my fix has very good N2O, and is a huge raver/racer stop [because they generate a ton of business for breathing as well as racing, they have a seperate tank they use to fill race tanks, and 1 for breathing]. no, it's not pharm grade, but it is one of the cleanest in LA county. and you can breath any gas you want, it's just after a certain piont the carcinagenic effects will take hold sooner with crappy gas. i used to go thru 2 80lb tanks a weekend. never a dull moment, or complaint. i still have a 20lb tank in my garage.

Disclaimer: it is very unhealthy to breathe anything but the air around your head [in most cities]. do not breathe or ingest anything that will impair your judgement and then operate a 3000lb killing machine [your car]. not only is it illegal, you can and will have to keep your mouth shut after you have killed a bus full of nuns. drive sober and do your part to keep the streets safe.

i also grew up with a Dad that was a comercial diver. i have seen [up close] 40lb bottles of O2 get the nozzles knocked off by a sledgehammer and get launched off the side of a barge in the Gulf of Mexico. they fly like close to 1000 feet and then skip off the water. the force is no joke.

Well... that makes a lot more sense. I thought you were saying the bottle was "flying around the car" as in it was busted open and spewing around like a balloon bouncing off the windows or something. BS withdrawn.
