'95 E38 730i Radio (Computer) Display!!!

Hi all. I have a problem with Radio Display of my car which colour is lighter now than it used to be. The model is 65-82-8352-408-9 . without the telephone buttone. It is still working perfectly so I rang the dealer nearby me. The answer is that I have to replace the whole radio!!! But I think the problem is the only LED Display which I guess it could be replace easy. Please advise how to fix this problem.

I don't know how to fix it but...
There was a similar post a month or so ago and I mistakenly thought the guy meant the On-Board Computer (OBC) like in my '93 740iL . You might look through the older posts to see if you can find it and then contact the person who posted it to see if and how they solved their problem. Good luck.

There is a guy on cardomain.com with a E38 and he had the same problem with the pixels dissapearing/fading but n his dash, he fixed it himself and i don't think he replacer anything (or much anyway). He has a step by step thingo and if you look under 95 or 96 you should find it, i'll post back if i find it.
