Hey guys. I just installed my Greddy sp2 exhaust(2004 model just came out) on my 1990 integra. It sounds AMAZING, but I need a new catylitic converter. Im thinking of getting a hi-flow cat. What are the best brands of cats? Are the cheap ones on ebay any good or are they shit? If someone knows where I can get a good hi flow cat for cheap....HELP.

if you need to pass emissions (like in Cali) get a real cat. Otherwise (a cheap solution) you can gut your old cat. I have an ebay one, but i dont use it. the "test pipe" are just a hollow piece of metal that lets exhaust pass straight through it, so i dunno how much better an expensive one can be vs. an ebay one.

I would go with a carsound cat, random tech cat or test pipe. If you gut your cat it will make the car slower, the gutted cat will act like a chamber that is larger than the exhaust pipe and cause the exhaust gases to change directions and cut down on flow.

Every state as emmissions....but they differ...
I dont think NY emmissions are like Cali....

i would go buy the test pipe, put it in, enjoy the extra power, then put in the stock cat...and exhaust when you get your car smoged.
