A little problem, I accidentally triggered my SES light today, and can't get it to turn off. I've tried a few different things that are susposed to turn it off, but so far no luck. Do i need to bring my car in to have it reset?

Autozone and Advance auto have scan tools that can reset it. They do it for free. You could also buy one for yourself. New they go for around $140 and on ebay they're hitting $105.

I'll keep them in mind if I run into this problem again. The light turned off on it's own a few days later, and I brought the car to the dealer today. By me triggering the light came out to be a good thing, since GM just posted a bulletin last week about certain trouble codes, (mine being one of them) which they move some wiring harnesses that could cause the code. All i can say is perfect timing!
