If you knew the dimensions and angles could you buy all the tubing off of say jcwhitney.com and cut/duct tape all the parts in the right place then take a flange and have a welder weld that on along with the piping in place? Would that work for a downpipe.

Why buy tubing off of jcwhitney.com when you could just get a shop to fabricate you a downpipe for probably a lot less?

LOL looks like your having the same trouble with quotes that I am.

Not trying to dis your idea or anything, it'd be a good idea if JC-Whitney was actually a more realiable and/or cheaper than other dealers. That just isn't the case tho, so I would definately recommend going to a local shop that can fabricate parts. Also, if the shop can fabricate, then they surely can weld too, so maybe you can have it all done at the same shop. It would sure save you some trouble.

I had a shop do my downpipe, they did a very nice job and it looks like it flows very good. but it is crush bent (even though they used wide radius's so it wouldnt restrict that much flow)

When I get enough money I am going to buy a bunch of mendral bends from JCW and cut, weld them myself so I can get better flow.
