My friend is looking into getting a CRX and wants to swap the stock engine with a VTEC. Is this possible and if so how much would it cost and how hard would it be to make it functional?

ya ok i shouldn't have said v6, but correct me if im wrong, do very many people put a 6 cylinder engine in a 4g civic/crx?, is there even enough room without serious modification? wouldn't it seem better to just go with a 4 cyl route?

Ya, its hardly possible, but doable.
Assload of work, and good luck getting it to run.

if your friend really wants a swap with vtec, you have plenty of choices, all of which are better and more feasible than that v6 you have planned..
