Difficulity of installing shocks?

I have a set of Eibach lowering springs on my 94 RS. I also have stock shocks which are pretty much dead by now. I was looking at buying a set of Koni Yellows or Tokico Illumnia shocks. Is it very difficult to install shocks? Also do I need any special tools for the job? thanks

I would pay someone, I think you need a spring compressor to compress the springs when adding the new ones and removing the old ones.

i would sell what you have and just get a set of coilovers that way you dont take it to a shop and have them fuck something up that you would have never know about, or take it there cause you do need a spring compressor, orelse you might break an arm or something, but you can try.

my suggestion to u is that if ur a first timer on installing springs, i recommend u to take it to the shop. spring installation is not that hard to install if u know how, but it can be challenging for the first time. u don't really need a spring compressor to change the springs. i have done it with clamps, and it works just the same. but i strongly advise u to change it with a spring compressor because these springs can shoot up to as high as 10 ft. like 91lsspecial said, u don't want to lose any of ur body parts right?
