hey, I am _hopefully_ getting an SiR-II later today (assuming some ass doesn't steal it from under me or something else doesn't go wrong), but I was wondering what works in the way of putting other trannies on it. I was interested in a GSR tranny or type-R if I could afford it, but will it just slap on? will it go on with basic machining?

Also... with a b16a in my car, I could get a b20 block and CRVtec with some basing machining, or am I wrong there? Would there be any advantage in the long wrong? that .4 L just seems so appealing when I'm about to kill my bank account for a friggin 110 ft-lbs car.

And, as I forsee it happening, thanks for the flames in advance :icon16:

everything you said is easily accomplished, the trannies will bolt directly onto the motor, and the crvtec is not to hard, but some extra wiring and some oil lines will need to be run/created in order for it to work.
