i am in the bussiness of buying a new car... i have two in mind one being a 1994 accord EX with all of the workings (auto, leather, moonroof...) with one owner that ive known for a long time and i know has taken care of the car. the second is a 1993 accord LX that has a five speed and looks to be in pretty good condition, did a carfax and it has had four different owners, i trust the guy selling it but have only known him for a short while... also i am planning to go to college in the fall and will have a severely limited income.... loans will be needed for both, the 94 is $4500 and the 93 is $4000.... any advice?

I have a '90 EXR 5 speed (same vintage as the '93). A solid car with very few problems over 14 years. Less power goodies on the LX would lean me towards that model when you consider how flakey electrical can get after 10 years.

I have a 94 EX and love it. It's got minor issues but at 10yrs and 106k, you expect it to. Don't know much bout the 93LX. Personally I would go for the one owner thing, at least you know what he did to the car maintenance wise. The 4 owner thing can be risky.

i'd go with the 94 accord. if the 93 accord was an EX model, it'd be a harder question but since it is an LX, id go with the 94 accord EX.

:werd: EX all the way..... more options, more hp, one owner= hands down winner. i'd see if the guy would take 4 grand even
