power seat stuck 1997 Seville

The driver's side power seat in my 1997 Cadillac Seville will not move forward or back more than 1 inch. The other seat movements are fine as are the two positions set in memory (tilt only). I can find no debri on the seat tracks. Any suggestions?

check fuse first then check swith probalby the switch

I had a similar problem with my 2003 Seville. Everything seemed to work fine.
I raised the seat about a quarter of an inch, now it works fine. If I lower the seat it only moves about an inch.
