86' crx zcsohc vtec(need help)

Somebody offered me a zc sohc vtec w/vtec controller,mounts,and tranny. He said the ecu wont fit my harness that he has. Where can i get an ecu at? do i need a smaller one? i need help. Also do i need new axles? Do i need anything else?

I belive the sohc vtec zc is a d series engine. Teh only d series that will fit is a n 86-89 Integar DOHC motor with no modifications, if the whole integra drivetrain is used.
the later d series engines will not bolt in and require custom mounts. I would use 86-89 Integra tranny, axles, spindles etc. I know its a zc, but its a sohc vtec zc which relates to the later d series
There are 2 gens of DOHC zcs motors, the 1st gen one will fit only. The 2g will not fit unless custom mounts are made. The 86-89 Integar motor is basically a 1g ZC. the sohc zc is diferent, i dotn know why they call it a zc, but its not gonna fit easily...

Also the 86-87 Integra will bolt in and require minimal wiring mods, while the 88-89 Require alot of wiring mods.

So basically what youre lookign at is 86-89 Integar tranny, axles, shift linkages, spindles, probably a 88-91 CRX Ecu, and custom mounts.

it can work but it is going to be alot of work and money it would be easyer to sell it and get you a integra block and you might have some cash left over
