I have 2 brand new, never been used, 99' and above remotes for sale. Make me an offer, or trade for 91' to 96' remotes. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1302705&a=9666849&p=38192346

On my 99' remote there is no trunk release. What would I need to do to make one of these remotes work with my car? Can I simply take them to the dealer and then have the use of the trunk release or does it need to have a radio receiver in the trunk (like in the post 99 releases)? Thanks.

I couldnt tell you on this one. I dont know that much about 99's to know. I will try and get in touch with the dealer out here and ask them.

kchiandet,
Sounds like you just have the SUV remote design instead of the Altima remote. They are compatible, and the trunk release is just combined with the top button on the actual Altima unit. They're the same remote, just different designs painted on the buttons.
