best performance in production car

i would have to say that the ferrari enzo has the best performance. a recorded 10.8 second 1/4 mile and 73 mph slalom and braking from 60 in 105 ft., that has to have the best overall performance. plus, (this is subjective), its a ferrari.

First thing I have to say is what is it with the NSX being in this poll?, maybe its just me, but It seems a little out of its league, yes?
And because this is performance and not favorites poll I'd have to vote for the Enzo.

In deciding on performance I cannot seperat what you pay for that performance from the equation. The Enzo is a sweet piece as is the new Carrera GT...but both seem unbelievably overpriced compared to the performance of the Ford GT.

i cant remember the person on af, but they said that when you buy a car, all you are paying for isnt the speed, its also for the name and the quality of materials. so you cant really put cost into the overall performance of a car. thats my 2 cents.
