Hello again,

haven't been posting here for a while, but now I decided to share my current project. I'm now trying another 3d program, MilkShape 3d. I think it's easier to use than 3ds max...

lookin pretty good man...There are some bumps in the model that should be smoothed out but nothing major.

Personally i think you would be better off trying to leard 3ds max which is what I use...Its alittle intimidating at first but once you get the hang of it its really not too difficult to use.

Anyway keep up the good work and let us know how its comin along!

Mancu: I'm just trying this program now. But in 3ds max, how does that NURMS (or something) work, I can just draw some lines, but nothing else... Do you know any good tutorials for that? And how you did that consept? Boxmodeling, or...?

edit: also everyone else, if you know good 3ds max tutorials, please post an url

I use boxmodeling mostly to make my car...I then apply meshsmooth with 2 iterations...However i have never tried to make a real car like from blueprints, and boxmodelling is not the best for making real cars...

I'm not sure exactly how the NURMS works cause i never use it...one good site you should chekc out is 3dkingdom.org...they have some good people in their forums who im sure could help!
