Starter Solenoid

HEY I think i might have put the solenoid in backwards. now i have electonics, but the engine wont turn over, what should i do? I am also thinking about buying a totaled 86 t bird and using for a parts car. It costs 200 dollars. SHould I do buy it and use what i need, and sell whatever i dont use?

how bad is the parts car? regardless, 200 bucks is a good price. you can sell a load of parts for like 20 bucks and make yourself a profit.

if there's no body damage, you can net yourself several hundred just on doors, hood, trunk, fenders, headlights, etc.
