Congrats on the car for starters. Just because its posi doesnt mean that the posi isnt bad. It does happen. Most important thing with tint TAKE YOUR TIME. Get every last air bubble out they grow later. I dont remember the exact amount of time but i know its like a week or two before you should roll down the window at all. good luck and welcome

as far as the one wheel spinning, you could have some burned out clutch packs, a posi rear end after all is just an open rear end with clutch packs built in to keep one tire from spinning freely, kinda like engaging your e-brake a few notches, so if you got free spinning one legger syndrome, time for a differential rebuild. or get a torsen out of a fourth gen. no clutch packs, its a torque biasing system using a gear drive system to bias torque away from a spinning wheel to the one with grip. much better rear end, and will bolt right into your 89. as far as the tint, dunno man, no experience there.

Posi means that both of your real wheels wil spin when you give it gas. Both tires get power at the same time.

both tires get the same ammount of power but, they don't recieve the same ammount of traction. Suspension tuning is the key

my cousin had an 89 iroc Z28... he had a hardcore tranny in it and i think the heads were port and polished... it was a cool car... If your restoring it you should just go hardcore on everything.. Personally i'd remove the tint.. I have a 99 Cobra and i think it looks better without tint, but thats just my style.. Nice car man, i'm always looking for a chevy to win money from:) just some friendly trash talking....
