Craig, GM Vehicles will last 200K miles+. I had a Saturn SL with 195K and still ran great! If the previous owner didn't try to race the car, then you would probably be okay. But 100K miles would be nothing for these new generation GM vehicles.

I'm not afraid of miles. I have driven several vehicles with well over 100k. I bought a Toyota Pickup once with 175000 miles. I misread and thought it had 75000. Imagine my gasp when I found out, but actually that truck ran like a new one. I drove a 93 Mazda Van with 205000 miles, and it still ran good. I am now driving another van with 110000 and a Sunfire with 87000. I drive out of town a lot too, and I'm a woman!!

Its true GM cars do last long... I bought my 97 sunfire with 176500 on it (it had a great price tag) and its still driving away and I'm pretty harsh on it...as well my dads buick has over 255000 on it and its a 89 and believe it or not his car is in better condtion then mine...but thats only because the past 5 previous owners weren't the greatest to my sunfire lol, but I'll still drive her to the ground as I did my 86 nissan Multi...if anyone knows what that is I think its called something else in the states?
