Unbolt Muffler

Are there any side effects from unbolting a muffler?? Im planning to do that to make it louder but want to know if it will mess with anything in the long run.

it is illegal. it will sound worse than a coffee can exhaust.

I have several friends who dont use mufflers on their teg's. It's not that much louder, it's about as loud as performance exaust. And as mentioned it's illegal :nono:
