Look at the Bonnevilles. Thier big engines (SSEI) are always supercharged...and can burn rubber!

yup you could turbo a 3.4 just talk to a muffler shop and they could fabricate the manifolds to take a turbo. May need some pc upgrades and something to lowwer compression a bit too.

No matter what it will not be "cheap".

If you want to actually use the power adder you add whether its a turbo or sc you will need a block /engine that can take it.

Don’t despair but more importantly don’t rush to spend your only funds on a partial solution that gives you minimal gain. So many people want a quick cheap power solution. Then they buy a few cheaper parts slap them on and wala they have no real notable gain (50hp) and no money left.

A Turbo kit that will work properly will cost around $4000.00. You can take the stock engine into the 300-350hp ranges. That is with just a basic turbo kit. Most are actually happy with this but really this is the minimum gain from this type of kit.

The engine itself can be made to take on more than 700hp if you are willing to spend the funds on a proper build.

What about your transaxle?? Well both the 4t45-e and 4t60-e can be made to take around 600hp. Still not cheap but it is an option.

Yes if you have the money the possible hp capability of the transaxel can go much higher.

So unfortunately unless you go for nitrous you will need to buy a turbo to go fast. No mater what you use to get the power the engine still has to be built.

So how much for the engine?? Well the pistons alone are around the 700.00 mark.

the 4t60E can handle 600 horses?....wow, cause i was thinkin for a project car in the future to put a 3800 in my 95 grand am, but other than that i know that i will need new motor mounts and wiring harness....some ppl said that i would need to get a trany that could take more power and would still fit other wise i would have to replace it all of the time...so can it actully take 600hp?...wow
