For a 1992 integra gs would it be better to put in a turbo or to install a gsr engine. Which would give me better hp and torque results for my car?

How many miles does your engine have on it??? how do you like to drive? what kind of gains are you looking for? What is your budget? I like all engine personally and would say GSR engine or maybe if the budget is a little tight get a B16A2 <this engine has a lot of potential as well and good revs>

it has 120000 miles on it. Well i like to go fast from stop signs and lights.
I want the accel from stop for my car to go up.The budget is around 3000 $.

If turbo was an option you would most likely need to do some internal work to make it reliable. Are you driving it everyday? If so I think getting the engine swap would be right up your alley. You will be getting an engine with less miles and that trade mark V-TEC. Do you plan on doing any of the work yourself? If so a junked GSR motor might be possible but on that budget even ordering a B16A2 might be right on the edge if you are going to get done by a shop. Maybe even a B16 would be good in your car but I recommend spending the extra buck for a hydraulic tranny (B16A2).

Here are a couple links so you can look at some engines/specs/prices (may not be completely accurate but will give you a starting point) :

If i get the engine the work would mostly be done by myself and my dad. He has experience with that. Im guessin im gonna have to buy more then just the engine. What other parts and any guess how much more?

if you want an engine you can keep looking around and searching for other sites that offer a left hand drive... or just buy an american tranny... is the tranny you have manual? or auto? it should bolt up to a B series engine. If the tranny you have is not in good condition or not very reliable try looking for one at a junkyard or other websites that offer them... I dont think everyone of those engines are for right hand drive.. Try to contact them and get tips. They may have connections of their own or people to direct you to.. I wish my dad would have helped me with my car and had experience that is pretty groovy.
