computer upgrades

is there any computer programmers or computer chips or anything that has to do with computer tuning for an first gen non-turbo eclipse.

i know these are said by this particular site to be 2g, but i'm pretty sure you can do some searching based on these products and find something for a 1g n/t.

I dont think you will find a computer upgrade for the 1g NT. Maybe a half assed chip of some sort, if they even make 1g NT ECUs in an EPROM version. But all of the typical piggyback computers will work, like the SAFC, etc.

What is an SAFC?

Super air fuel controller. helps control the air fule mixture. Needed when you upgrade your pump, injectors, turbo and etc

Yes. Just a device that intercepts the airflow signal on the way to the ECU, and changes it per your settings, and lies to the ECU about airflow thereby manipulating your fuel delivery and ultimately air/fuel ratio. There are other similar devices, HKC VPC/GCC, Emanage, etc
