I just heard about formula D on the boards last night so I doubt its on TV, or not yet atleast... I would say speed channel would be the best bet, or whatever station shows nascar, as long as it isn't on sunday afternoons :)

I heard that it's gonna be aired on TV by an affiliate of HBO... what channel? I don't know!

it will probably be on, but i believe there are only 3 events this year from what ive read

you mean the d1 competition, i wish they would start that up it would be like watching my drift compilations but better and no music to take out the sound, it would make sense if they did put it on its getting really popular

Formula D is the name of the SCCA sanctioned, USA based professional drift series making its debut this year.
There is no word on a television deal as of yet, just as D1 is not televised, but I would not be surprised if Speed Channel and Spike TV have been approached and either one or the other will be airing Formula D competitions within a year or two.

Give the series time to build up car counts, sponsorship packages, and a following amongst fans so that it can expand properly.
At the moment, the only high-profile driver/team in Formula D is Rhys Millen and his controversial Pontiac GTO. The SCCA has only confirmed 4 events, and it's all pretty shaky.
But I've grown up around the SCCA and when they throw their weight behind something it grows and prospers. It's a little small now, but if "hardcore" import guys learn to shut their xenophobic yaps, you'll see Formula D become the force in drifting competition.
