PS pump noisy

My Power steering pump is moaning especially when cold in my 98 EX V6. Is this normal? it is a whissile/moan/hiss noise. It gets louder when turning and seems to be much louder than other accords I have had in the past.

Make sure you have enough ps fluid in it and make sure you don't have any leaks. Cold weather will cause the fluid to have a greater viscosity and may make the pump whine.
