Seduction our low-scoring game
By Jennifer Dudley
February 6, 2004
AUSTRALIAN men are low-rated lovers whose idea of a seductive dinner involves fast food and alcohol, according to a survey by Harlequin Enterprises.
The romance book publisher surveyed the attitudes of 300 Australians on the art of seduction and some results were less than favourable.
Women rated the seduction techniques of Aussie men at 4.7 out of 10, while women only scored slightly better with 5.7.
But the low scores may have been due to differences of opinion, as some results indicated men and women held wildly different views.
Men selected fast-food outlet McDonalds as their number one romantic restaurant and liked their seduction just as fast - preferring spontaneity and flirting over the slow seduction favoured by women.
The survey also found men seduce women for sex while women do it for the challenge.
There are some blokes that meet Aussie women's seduction standards though. Actor Hugh Jackman and retired tennis champion Pat Rafter topped the list of Australian men women would like to be seduced by.
Australian stunners Elle McPherson, Kylie Minogue and Nicole Kidman did it for the men.
The survey, released in the lead-up to Valentine's Day, also found 74 per cent of Australians nominated alcohol as the top food used to seduce. Good looks, a humorous nature and gentle touch were top turn-ons.
Tousled hair, whispered sweet nothings and fame, however, failed to have the desired effect on Australian lovers.

Yeah... nothing says seduction like a Big Mac and a Beer...
That's some pretty weak romance there.

I've checked 3 bio sites and they all say Honalulu, Hawaii. I guess they say she's aussie maybe cuz she was raised there...I dunno, I'm not an expert on her (I don't prefer her acting) I'm just relaying information.
