Whats Up?

WAKE UP EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats everyone been up to lately? TLD has kinda died down, but don't let it fully die guys. I know everyone has been busy doing something or other, but let the others know something.

I know there has been some car changes that have happened lately, along with some mods and other things. So tell me what all is going on.

If you haven't heard I am no a owner of a 95 240SX. Not a proud owner yet because it still needs some work, but soon it will be on the road without any exhaust rattles or anything. Don't worry, the civic has not been forgotten. She threw a fit and won't start, won't run, and has a flat tire right now. But she is about to get an Si head, a header, and hopefully some ZC pistons in her. Once that is done she should be pretty quick for once. Hopefully all of that will be done before summer time, then I can focus more work on the 240.

The almost unknown member, Fried Circuit, has finally got rid of his Saturn, and is a proud owner of a 90 240SX Coupe. Unfortunetely(sp?) its not a KA24DE, its just a KA24E, only diff that i know of is his has 12 valves instead of 16, so I'm going to guess there are some HP differences also. I also had to swap out the alternator in the middle of the night while it was raining to make sure at least one of us had a running vehicle. The good thing about it is that fact that its already a 5Spd.

bought the 5th gen CX, selling the 5th gen CX, fixing the busted to hell 4th gen. should be running in two-three weeks.

sold my 90 blu std then got a 90 red dx and sold that...but last week someone gave me a 95 galant....so i'm going to see what i can do to that or just fix it and trade it for another 4th gen

Well Im selling the hatch, need some money, even though it might be traded for a 87 Supra, but the only reason I will do that is for my dad, otherwise I need the money more than another project.

The Nissan finally moves, but I still gotta take it back apart to install a flywheel shim so it will stop slipping when it gets a little warm. And I also have to wire the sensors in, but for now it moves, it drives, it gets me back and forth from school.

and who are you to talk, :P you don't have a hatch....i still do..but not for long hopefully. Damn, the other guy already sold his 87 supra, so i guess its just going to have to be sold.

Note for everyone: If you do a Auto-manual swap, so yourself a favor, #1: Make sure you have all the tools you need and are good quality.
#2: Buy all new parts. Examples: Clutch Kit and FLYWHEEL!!!!

Stupid Nissan's flywheel is screwed. I lost the shim to it...well actually just forgot it, and now my clutch slips like a mofo, and I Can't find anyone to sell me the damn shim, soooo I gotta take everything apart and buy a new damn flywheel.

You know im just messing with you, i expect the same once I don't have a hatch. Later down the line Ill end up with a CRX again. 4th gens are probably the only FWD cars I will have now, RWD is just so much fun....when the damn clutch dont slip.

Well here is an update on my situation...I was planning on coming back and trying to revive TLD since I didn't have a job, but I finally got a job in a body shop, so something is going good for me. I'm about to send the dizzy back for my civic and get it going. And should be getting a computer in the next month or so, just gotta wait until i move for a final time.

yea im moving myself soon, im working on selling my 92 still so i can pay for my move. I may invest a bit of money to get it smogged and registered so ill see what happens.
