New to turbos

could a turbo charger work with an automatic V6 vtec?

and if so what would you recomend for a 2001 accord v6 that is a quality piece

yes. a turbocharger can be made to work in any application... but it all depends on cost. for your application, there are no kits available, and no one makes a turbo manifold on a mass scale. i would reccommend a T3/T4 or a T04 size turbo, and look to Revhard to see if they'll create a custom manifold for you and give you an estimated price.

it aint gonna be cheap.
