Door locks crapping out

I just bought a 91 eclipse a few weeks ago. The driver side door lock hasn't worked from the outside using the key since I got it. This wasn't too large of a concern for me since the passenger side still worked. However, the passenger side lock is starting to go too. The key won't turn at all after inserting it and I usually end up having to kiggle the key for about a minute before I can unlock the door. The situation has been worsening over the past few days. I'm afraid to lock the doors now for fear of getting locked out. Anyone have some ideas for what I might do to fix this, or should I just take it to a locksmith? I'd prefer to do it myself since I'm very low on cash right now.

i think you are trying to say that the lock is siezed. try some wd-40. get the little red straw, put it into where you put your key and squirt away. give it a second to work and try the key. if not a sieze problem, you can always take the interior door cover off and look around.
