Allright, after seeing Guiddy's blue Skyline (I thought it was the real car at first until I noticed the size difference :D ) I've been inspired to build my own model. I have absolutley no experience and I'd like to build an Evo VII. Found this at HLJ, http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?FUJ03520 . Do you guys think this will be too hard for me to build as a newbie?

The experts in this forum will likely tell you to start off with a few cheap models until you get a feel for it. But if you really like this car, why not? Have Fun!:)

Welecome along to the Model forum.

I say go for it !!!

It should not be that hard to do. Looks to be a nice kit and should be fairly straight forward with the painting and the assembly of it.
Let us know how you get on with it.

THanks for the complements!

I never did a model just to gain practice, as a model always has to inspire me.
If the VII inspires you, I say go for it!
They do some with big rims etc. also, which I think look a bit meaner!
I don't forsee any problems with that Fujimi kit. Should be fine to start off with!

Fujimi's are pretty straightforward kits. Defintely a lot less complicated than, say, Hasegawa or Tamiya (which, btw, I'm currently starting a Evo VII on). Go for broke, good luck, and let everyone know how it's going along...:D
