My First Project

well, i bought a reletively easy model from revell, its an integra type r.

i decided to go easy on my first one.

ok, well, i got the engine built, and i am in the process of painting the interior

I'm working on my second one, but I just started on it. I will record my progress somewhere if you guys want a little bit of reference even though its only my second model ;)

I have huge plan for this car, don't know if I can ever do it!

What do you guys think of the ride height and wheels? I'm thinking that when i finally get one it may need it.

alrighty, well, i got the interior on the frame, the engine in, and i am gonna do some interior styling. i'm goin for all yellow, yellow and red interior, yellow body, yellow rims. i cant take pictures cause the program that i use to get the pics of the dig. cam doesnt work

I think that the ride height is good. It is pretty low and no wheel gap whatsoever. And you get a choice of 4 sets of wheels, 3 sets chrome and 1 set plastic. Not bad at all for a Revell.

Those Integra kits run out the door here where I'm at. I had to special-order mine, so hopefully it'll be here by next week. In the meanwhile, I bought the Tamiya Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, which I plan on starting sometime this week. Just gotta figure out whether I want to paint it white or blue... :confused:

We already have a blue one on the go, so it has to be white!

Are the wheels included two piece wheels, with a front and a back? Or are they are one piece wheel like tamiya and fujimi?

They are a one piece wheel. Also remember that this model is 1:25th scale (go figure). I don't know if this will affect aftermarket wheel sizes, but by the looks of the car, the wheels are 18's. Here is a pic of the stock ride height.

Ride height looks pretty good.

well, i'm just about to finisht the interior, just waiting for some paint to dry, then the interior will be done. i must say, it turned out nicer than i thought. i will try to get some pics, if my program works.

well, the interior is completely done, it looks nice, i will see if i can get a pic somehow.
now, its on to the body

Search for the manufacturer "reji." They're racing seats for rally cars, I think, but they can be bastardized. ;)

hey everyone, dude..im on my 5th type r.... whoever said they fly out the door...thats because of me. i wish i had pics.. ive been goin out and buyin touch up paint from the autoparts stores and using testors clear. they look real good. i also have 2 hasegawa civic hatchbacks, the SiR 2 and the Vti/Eti. ive modifyied the suspension on both and put the spare type r rims on both of them... one civ is black with white type r's and the other is sivler with silver type r's.... im no guiddy but im on my way :finger:

my digital camera software doesnt work, so, i'm gonna try to use my friends digital camera sometime soon.

oh, and did you hear, i'm finished:D
