Steering problems with Lifted 89 k1500

I have an 89 k1500 with 9 inches of lift (6 inch pro comp suspension and 3 inch body). I have put a 3 bolt idler arm on it (because the 38's were burning up the 2 bolt idler). Now the angle of the tie-rod is such that the slightest suspension travel will cause it to bend on the upper control arm. Anyone else seen this? Suggestions?

1) I believe that year truck had a lift with a new centerlink that lowered the centerlink so that wouldn't happen. Is that installed?
2) Are the torsion bars tightened too tight, causing the frontend to be lifted too much?

The centerlink is installed. The torsion bars are cranked up pretty high to accomidate the 38s, but I didn't have this problem when I first lifted it and had the 2 bolt idler. It only occured after installing the 3 bolt idler, and it seems to have gotten worse over time.
