Whats up fellow G20/Primera lovers!
Does anyone know if you can remove that honeycomb cone that covers/reflects the headlight bulb? You would think this would look better when an aftermarket bulb is installed!
Thanks,

Bad idea.
Your headlights will not shine the same. ;)

I'm 97% sure I won't do it, but, I put new cool blue bulbs in and the tips are black anyway. It seems like that diamond like cover just reflects the light and the new bulbs don't need reflection.
It was just a thought, I couldn't bring myself to break it off.

I really hope that 3% chance doesn't happen. You would be really sorry if you broke that cover off. The purpose of the cover ain't just for looks! The beams are suppose to be sealed. Plus, if you did break it off, and decided that you made a mistake, it would be a VERY expensive mistake. Those headlights are bank! The honeycomb like cover will not affect the way a bulb shines. I too had the Cool Blue headlights at first, but quickly switched to HYPER's xenon blue bulbs. The "cool blue" was actually more like "cool white". But the HYPER's are really blue--HID like!

I actually tried to take the honeycomb cover off...opened the rubber seal, took out the bulb, and then you will see on the bottom a screw to remove the cover...did that but the cover is too big to remove through the hole where the bulb goes...so was not able to take that off...tell me if you can take it off
BTW, I wasnt trying to take out the cover, i was just thinking of putting another type off cover on there, cuz i have seen other cover for H4 bulbs that are more open...like the bottom is open and only top and side are covered(ours is completely covered)

I like the way my cool blue lights look in my headlights. However, I think I am going to put XENON PLASMA BLUE (or possibly XENON PLASMA YELLOW) bulbs in my clearance lights. I'm not sure how they will look in contrast.
I'M GONNA DO IT SOON~LOOKING 4 OPINIONS!!!
Thanks 2 All,

i had cool blues and they suked i didnt notice ne difference fro the stock, and if u go with yellow for the clearence lights it will deff throw that yellowish color back into your hedlights that u dont want. the clearence lights are to close to teh headlights i have super whites in mine looks good all superwhite. i would say thats ur best bet if u want the headlights to stay the superwhite color, but ur car ur choice
