Oil Pump Replacement 99 Dakota

To say I'm a bit angry would be putting it mildly. 55K miles, 99 Dakota Zero oil PSI. Maybe a plugged screen, or bad pump but either way the pans got to come off. Can I raise the eng. enough to get it out? Pan's loose, motor mt. bolts loose, headed home in a bit to continue the task. Any help is appreciated.
It really hurts, I love the dang truck for it's looks but she sure has been a problem child. Nothing major until this, but lots of little problems!
Thanks again for the help!

On this you will probably have to partially unbolt the front differential and let it hang, also you will have to remove the steering rack and pinion, then you can remove the oil pump. (Of course you will have to remove the oil pan also.) This is what I had to do recently on a '01, but I also drive a '99 and it shouldn't be too different. Sometimes you can get lucky enough for it to drop low enough you don't have to remove anything but the oil pan.

I just replaced my pump today, i had the same problem, the oil gauge was all over the map then just drops to 0, the screen was also clogged. i dropped the front end and tie rod then installed the pump, this took me about 6 hours
