Hey guy's. I decided to start a thread, All my pervious projects are called off now. I havent been this excited about building a model in a long time. Well here's the basic layout of the trunk, Here's a list: 2 12 inch AudioBahn subs, Pioneer Amp, LCD 7inch TV, 4 Hydro pumps, 6 Batterys. Took me about a half hour to get everything to fit, But I did it. And I think it look's really awesome. As i told you before, I will be using the '64 Chassis. It will be in either "ass-drag" stance, or "3-wheelin" stance. What do you guys think of it so far?!?

Josh

I will have some more pics tomarrow! I plan on a custom Consol, Like the one SLK has but I will scratchbuild mine!

that looks really nice man but in reality you would only want to be running 2 pumps off 6 batteries. but I suppose it is only a model. good to see another entry that might be done traditional style, but alot of people are using impalas. there are more to lowriders then just impalas and cadillacs ;)

Well, I didn't know how many pumps to put in there lol, If it's only spose to be 2, then ill cut them up. I want to make it as realistic as I can. Thank's for the comments man!

Doesn't realistically have only 2 pumps in the back, you can have as many as you want but not alot of cars have heaps, alot of the feature cars in Lowrider magazine only have up to 4, alot having only 2 or 3, most people who own a lowrider only have 2 because there isn't a huge need for four.
Dub city models only seem to be good for the parts at the moment, hahaha.

Nomads make sick lowriders, they got lots of room in the back for your setups too. Try Hoppin Hydros but you can always buy a Revell Lowrider kit.

I was polishin another body and got a gob of 3M compound on the front chrome bumper of this, And went to rub it off, (without thinking) and it removed the chrome :crying: So does anybody have one I can buy off them, Cause I don't feel like waiting to get one from revell, Or buy a new kit just for the bumper. I already tryed the '64 but it doesnt work :-(

Looks really neat now (the console). With the setup you might find the TV to look better either between the subs or kind of level with the floor, not on top of the floor, if that is easily understandable.
Look forward to more progress.

Update time!

Well here's the engine part's, EdelBrock Valve Cover's, And a EdelBrock Air Cleaner, I have no idea what kit they were out of, My guess is the AMT '55 Chevy Street Machine Truck. I cut the distributor off so I can get a Detail Master Photo-Etched one. I will get one tomarrow. :sunglasse

http://elitrix.net/everythingauto/album_pic.php?pic_id=151

Next:

Here's the console now, I made a cut out to put drink's or other stuff there. Don't mine the putty, It was just to smooth it out a little more. :sunglasse

http://elitrix.net/everythingauto/album_pic.php?pic_id=152

Body should be ready for primer tomarrow, After I get it out of the Brake Fluid, Sand it down, And primer it. Color will be something different again.
Tamiya Pearl Light Red (TS-59). Interior will be Black and (Red Or Pink?).
I'm gonna take a ride up to the hobby shop tomarrow and get a wired distributor, as I said above, And a pair of Hoppin' Hydro's Dayton rim's. Other then the paint problem's, This project has been going smoothly. My '64 suspension should be here in about a week. So I can start working on that. If anybody can get me some pic's of plumbed Hydro pump's, That would be great!. Well enough babaling on.

Josh

I say go with black and red.
Like Purpura Delujo said, don't rush. You still have time, take your time, and make a good quality model.
Looks good so far.

Looks good Josh man, I hope the 64 chassis fits smoothly, why are you using it anyway?

hahahahahaha cup holders in a lowrider, man the cups would spill everywhere when you are hopping down the boulevard, put a switchbox there instead ;) :sunglasse

And yeah, I probably will put a switchbox in there, I never thought of that. Or never thought of lookin on lil for pic's, Thank's for the feedback.
