CEL light

ok heres the deal, i had a major oil leak about 4 days ago, and the oil light came on and the CEL light came on also. So i brought the car to the local mechanic. He looked at it and said that where the oil filter attaches to the engine there was a leak. ok fine so he fixes and refills it with oil, degreases the engine, and fixes the leak.

So heres my problem, the CEL light still comes on but only when the car heats up to normal operating temps. Now i brought it back and the mechanic said that some water coulda got on the distributor and that the light would prolly go away in a few days. It hasnt. Now Im just thinking its a faulty sensor or maybe the weather (snowy, i live in MN). Im gonna bring it back cuz he said hed check it if it didnt go away but im just curious as to what u think is going on.

thx for the help
